QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma / GED equivalent, some college preferred or administrative office experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as an administrative secretary, with a minimum of three (3) in public education setting preferred.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills (some Spanish preferred).
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, detail-oriented, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Apps), calendar management tools, and other office productivity and technology tools (eFinance, eSchoolPlus, Applicant Tracking System)
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience managing complex schedules, overseeing projects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative in resolving issues and improving processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative working relationships across departments and campuses.

$48,395/CP-8
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2024-2025
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare correspondence, forms, manuals, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain physical and electronic department files and records.
- Perform routine bookkeeping tasks and maintain department budget records.
- Compile pertinent data as needed when preparing reports.
- Answer and respond to incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff.
- Greet visitors and assist employees.
- Make meeting arrangements for department activities including preparing materials, scheduling, and setting up facilities, and arranging equipment including technology.
- Maintain a schedule of appointments for the administrator assigned and make travel arrangements.
- Maintain calendar and department activities, staff and Assistant Superintendent’s schedule.
- Compile, monitor and process personnel time and payroll records.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Assistant Superintendent.
