QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School diploma or GED.
  2. Possess basic secretarial skills such as typing (minimum 45 wpm) and knowledge of business machines.
  3. Proficient in the use of PC. Ability to train on and use other applications including MS-WORD, and MS-EXCEL
  4. Possess basic accounting skills.
  5. Competent in records management and general office procedures.
  6. Ability to speak, read and understand the English language.
  7. Free of communicable diseases.
  8. A working knowledge of school food service cafeterias is preferred.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

250 Days

 

SALARY/PAYGRADE:

$36,423/CP-5

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Compile and schedule all FPC orders from satellite operations.
  2. Order produce and ingredients for production and campus purposes.
  3. Place bread order as per schedule.
  4. Account for inventory through established methods and procedures.
  5. Print all recipes used for production.
  6. Print production schedule as needed for production or pack out.
  7. Input data in a timely manner to maintain all systems current.
  8. Address daily problems as necessary.
  9. Maintain adequate filing system.
  10. Input inventory and reconcile.
  11. Maintain inventory levels on fruits and vegetables.
  12. Support the Food Service Department with regular and reliable attendance.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Production Manager/Executive Chef or Food Service Director.

Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer.

 

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY:
All food service employees must use good body mechanics and follow safe working procedures including infection control. The employee must report any unsafe condition to a manager or supervisor and demonstrate no on-the-job injuries due to a lack of good safety practices. On-the-job accidents must be reported immediately to the manager or supervisor and an accident report completed.
