QUALIFICATIONS:

1.  High school diploma or GED equivalent.

2.  Three (3) years of administrative assistant experience or three (3) years of experience in human resources.

3.  Proficient in the use of personal computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe.

4.  Ability to quickly learn various Human Resource computer programs.

5.  Experience utilizing and maintaining a variety of databases with the ability to export data and reports from a variety of sources.

6.  Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of individuals and complex issues.

7.  Demonstrated personal integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.

8.  Ability to perform a variety of tasks and change assignments on short notice, with little or no direction.

9.  Ability to multi-task various administrative activities/duties.

10.Strong and effective oral and written communication skills required.

11.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.

12.Strong decision-making skills and demonstrated personal integrity required to support the best interest of the district.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

250 days

 

SALARY:

$38,008 - CP6

Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2022-2023

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.  Receive and initiate the workflow process for new hire paraprofessional recommendations.

2.  Coordinate contract signings and I-9 meetings for new hires.

3.  Setup RIVS interviews for assistant director.

4.  Review and rate references for new hires. 

5.  Process payroll actions such as resignations and transfers.

6.  Create and maintain spreadsheets for new hires, staff lists, etc.

7.  Track and update educational aide certification for current CP2/IP2 paraprofessionals.

8.  Assist employees with questions regarding general district policies.

9.  Assist with keeping all HR social media platforms updated.

10.Prepare and run reports as needed.

11.Maintain confidentiality of information.

12.Assist with special projects as needed.

13.Assist with organization of CFISD Career Fair and participate in recruiting efforts. 

14.Promote and support departmental goals. 

15.Perform other duties as assigned by the director/assistant directors of paraprofessional and support staff.

16.Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: 

Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals.

Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress.

Prolonged sitting, repetitive hand motions, frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds).
