QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or GED equivalent.
2. Minimum of four (4) years of secretarial experience.
3. Proficient skills in keyboarding, data entry, word processing and file maintenance.
4. Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and databases and do word processing.
5. Ability to read, write and speak English and possess basic math skills.
6. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
7. Effective verbal, (receptive and expressive) and written communication skills, detail-oriented and ability to problem solve a wide variety of complex and confidential matters.
8. Ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task numerous complex administrative activities and manage time with minimal supervision.
9. Ability to work with frequent interruptions; ability to maintain emotional control under stress.
10.Ability to operate and maintain a variety of technology used in the department.
11.Ability to prioritize workflow to address the multiple needs of the supervisor or department. 12.Preference will be given to CFISD employees.
13.Competency on CFISD proficiency test (Score of 85 or above and a minimum of 50 wpm typing skills) preferred. Please see requirements below.

250 days
SALARY/PAYGRADE:
$37,258 - CP6
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2020-2021
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Prepare correspondence, forms, manuals, reports and presentations for director and other staff.
2. Maintain physical and electronic departmental files and records.
3. Perform routine bookkeeping tasks and maintain department budget records.
4. Prepare and process department purchase orders.
5. Serve as liaison between District and community psychiatrist office staff.
6. Perform data entry and maintain department databases.
7. Answer and respond to incoming calls, take reliable messages and route to appropriate staff.
8. Make arrangements for department activities including preparing materials, scheduling and setting up facilities, and arranging equipment.
9. Compile and process personnel time and payroll records for department staff.
10.Order and maintain inventory of office supplies, assessment materials and program equipment.
11.Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Psychological Services.
