QUALIFICATIONS:

1.  Proof of high school diploma or GED equivalency.

2.  Three (3) years of administrative/clerical experience or three (3) years of experience in human resources, or closely related field.  *Experience within a school district preferred.

3.  Experience managing and promoting recognition programs a plus.

4.  Proficient in the use of personal computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite.

5.  Demonstrated effective communication skills and customer service.

6.  Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of individuals and complex issues.

7.  Demonstrated personal integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.

8.  Ability to perform a variety of tasks and change assignments on short notice, with little or no direction.

9.  Ability to multi-task various administrative activities.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

This is a full-time temporary assignment, however, the length of the temporary assignment will be determined based on project needs. This position pays into the Teacher Retirement System (TRS).

 

PAY:

$25.00/hour

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.  Manage the substitute recognition program, including working with campuses to identify and recognize outstanding substitutes.

2.  Identify and provide engagement outreach to non-working substitutes including education, problem-solving and encouragement to accept assignments.

3.  Identify and engage with working subs via phone, email and traditional written communication to express gratitude and gauge job satisfaction.

4.  Collaborate with campus and department representatives to identify outcomes to address potential opportunities to enhance engagement initiatives and build working relationships.

5.  Be the brand ambassador in creating awareness of the Cy-Fair culture.

6.  Assist in the substitute application review process.

7.  Perform other duties as assigned.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:

Work with frequent interruptions. Maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer.  Moderate exposure to noise, and moderate exposure to extended periods of sitting and/or standing.
