QUALIFICATIONS:

1.  High school diploma or GED equivalent.

2.  Demonstrated experience with strong accounting skills with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a business office environment required.

3.  Demonstrated experience developing and understanding complex spreadsheets.

4.  Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Google Sheets, and Excel with the ability to create complex formulas and spreadsheets with accuracy.

5.  Possess superior detail-oriented organizational skills, able to self-manage and multi-task in a fastpaced environment while exhibiting outstanding customer service skills.

6.  Competency on CFISD proficiency test. (Final selection of the successful candidate will be dependent on proficiency testing. Candidates will be notified if testing is required).

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

230 days

 

SALARY:

$32,044 - CP5

Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2020-2021

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.  Create and maintain Title I budget spread sheets for 5lTitle I campuses and the district.

2.  Monitor school and district Title I budgets to be sure that accounts are not overdrawn.

3.  Maintain files and records in preparation of possible audit of Elementary and Secondary Educational Act mandates.

4.  Prepare, send and process all Title I purchase orders, consultant forms, reimbursements, travel forms and conference fee request.

5.  Proof all Title l-funded extra duty and temporary worker timesheets and substitute forms.

6.  Communicate with schools regarding budgets and spending procedures.

7.  Verify receipt of all materials purchased with Title I funds across the district.

8.  Communicate with vendors regarding materials, shipping, grant specifications and problems.

9.  Communicate regularly with payroll regarding Title I payments.

10.Assist the Federal Programs and grants Specialist and the Director of Federal Programs & Grants in the processing of summer staff development, contracts, conference certificates and travel reimbursements as it relates to Title l.

11.Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Federal Programs & Grants.

Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment.
