QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School diploma or GED required.
2. Must have clear and acceptable driving record as determined by the Texas School Bus Driver’s requirements.
3. Must be able to speak and understand the English language.
SALARY/PAY GRADE
$15.40/HV3
Salary (based on verifiable job-related experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2019-2020
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
260 days
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Perform work in a thorough and neat manor in accordance with industry standards codes and laws.
2. Perform HVAC filter changing throughout the District as required.
3. Responsible for maintaining assigned equipment in a clean, first class, efficient operating condition.
4. Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
5. Must be able to read and understand building floor plans and maps.
6. Maintain filter replacement schedule.
7. Complete work order paperwork daily.
8. Maintain and update filter information as needed.
9. Maintain truck inventory of filters.
10.Place filter orders for all district facilities.
11.Follow department procedures for PPE and Safety.
12.Update Foreman to any equipment deficiencies observed.
13.Good written and oral communication.
14.Performs other duties as assigned by superiors.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS FOR ALL HVAC POSITIONS:
1. Able to lift and carry 75 pounds.
3. Be available to work different schedules or shifts to accomplish tasks.
4. Be available for after hour demands; subject to 24 hour responsibility.
5. Maintain emotional control under stress.
6. Ability to work alone.
7. Ability to keep information confidential.
8. Work well with others.
9. Work at heights.
10.Physical exposure to cold, heat, dampness, and noise.
11.Continuous standing, walking, bending, climbing, crouching, pushing, pulling, carrying, reaching, lifting and lowering.
12.Ability to work appropriately with others in close proximity.
13.Ability to use step and extension ladders safely.
14.Ability to work around machinery and electrical equipment.
15.Capable of working from lifts safely at various heights.
