PURPOSE:
To provide content instructional delivery for a dual credit class on an intermittent basis. This allows students to recieve Lone Star College instructional credit for the dual credit course when the assigned teacher is temporarily not available. This is a temporary worker assignment. CFISD will assign a substitute during that class period to facilitate district classroom responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree or higher from recognized, accredited college or university. Transcripts must be attached to application;
- Minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in one of the following: Art History, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, English, Environmental Science, Government, History, Macroeconomics, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, Spanish;
- Must be approved by Lone Star College as an adjunct professor;
- Ability to speak, read, and understand the English lanaguage.
- Ability to demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude, maintain confidentiality, and abide by the policies of the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a temporary assignment. Length of temporary assignment will be determined based on project need.

SALARY/PAYGRADE:
Hourly rate is $42.37
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for the content instructional delivery for the dual credit assigned.
- Work closely with the assigned classroom substitute to implement district classroom responsibilities.
- Promote a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.

Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer. Exposure to working inside and outside (moderate exposure to sun, heat, cold, and inclement weather), moderate exposure to noise, and moderate exposure to extended periods of sitting and/or standing.
