QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. Clear and valid Texas Driver’s License and acceptable driving record as determined by the Texas School Bus Driver’s requirements.
3. Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
4. Must have a good working knowledge of the roadways in and around the Houston area.
5. Must have good communication and organizational skills.
6. Must be able to work unexpected overtime in order to complete a pick up or delivery.
7. Must be able to maintain emotional control in all driving conditions.
8. Must be able to drive for 6-8 hours per day.
9. Ability to keep information confidential.

SALARY/PAYGRADE:
$13.14/HS4
Salary (based on verifiable job-related experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2017-2018
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for picking up parts, equipment, or materials ordered by the maintenance department.
2. Responsible for delivery of procured parts, equipment, or materials to specific sites.
3. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
4. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
WORKING CONDITIONS:

Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, and heavy lifting and carrying. Work outside and around moving objects or vehicles. Exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals (herbicides and fertilizer), and loud noises. Frequent district-wide travel.
