QUALIFICATIONS:

1.Must be a current student teacher in CFISD for 2017-2018 school year

2. Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized, accredited college or university (Letter of Intent from university accepted with transcript commitment date.)

3. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;

4. Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.

5. Experience working with children preferred.

6. Flexible and able to adjust daily routine.

7. Demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Substitutes are employed on an at-will basis and are not considered contractual employees.

SALARY:

$90.00/day

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.Responsible for implementing the District's instructional program and educational philosophy in the subject area or grade level designated, in accordance with district policies, and procedures on a day to day basis. 

2. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.

Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment.
