QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized, accredited college or university;
2. Eligible for a valid Texas teaching certificate appropriate for teaching assignment;
3. General knowledge of curriculum and instruction;
4. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
5. Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.
6. Maintain a strong safety culture in the instructional setting;
7. Valid CDL or willingness to get one within first year of employment.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Probationary/Term Contract: 220 days

SALARY:

Pay Grade T60 (Teacher Classification) as approved by the Board of Trustees

2. Additional hours outside of the regular school day are required (evenings and weekends).
3. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.

Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment.
