QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
2. Possess superior organizational skills, bookkeeping, expertise and a pleasant telephone personality.
3. Ability to prioritize, organize, multi-task numerous complex administrative activities and manage time with minimal supervision.
4. Proficient in personal computer software such as MS Word, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint, knowledge in the use of graphics, charts, tables, spreadsheets, and word processing for documents.
5. Must also be accomplished in accessing the internet for e-mail and other research information.
6. Must be self-motivated, able to work under pressure and able to work with a wide variety of individuals.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
250 days
SALARY/PAYGRADE:
$35,986 – CP6
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2017-2018
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Prepare correspondence, reports, forms, and HORIZONS and College/Career publications and grant documents.
2. Process purchase orders, secure quotations for bids, maintain ledger sheets, and reconcile budget reports.
3. Process payroll and maintain records for Dual Credit and Gifted and Talented personnel.
4. Manage budgets and create reports in eFinance.
5. Manage the director's calendar, mail, and phone correspondence.
6. Research student information and prepare reports using Cognos and e-SchoolPLUS.
7. Prepare agendas and materials needed for meetings and staff development sessions.
8. Place and receive telephone and e-mail communications.
9. Represent the district in a favorable manner to parents, community members, district personnel, vendors, TEA/Region IV contacts, and others.
10. Assist the director in gathering data, maintaining records, and providing reports and services in collaboration with Lone Star College Cy-Fair.
11. Schedule professional development sessions in MyLearning, assign credit, and reconcile attendance.
12. Provide information and backup documents for CFISD Board agenda items.
13. Create and facilitate consultant agreement documents.
14. Prepare and record 'School Messenger' notification for College and Career events.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the director.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer.
