QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or GED equivalent.
2. Ability to read and understand instructions for proper pool cleaning procedures.
3. Knowledge of proper pool cleaning techniques.
4. Knowledge of minor repair techniques for pool cleaning equipment.
5. Valid Texas Driver’s License with acceptable driving record as determined by the Texas School Bus Driver’s requirement.
6. Ability to lift and carry loads approximately 75 lbs.
7. Ability to work unique hours such as days, nights, weekends and holidays.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
260 days
SALARY/PAYGRADE:
$10.38 per hour - HS2
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Cleans pools for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary and hazard-free pools.
2. Inspects swimming pools for the purpose of ensuring that pool area is suitable for safe operations, maintained in an attractive and clean condition, and/or identifying necessary repairs.
3. Vacuum pools.
4. Clean water line tiles, deck tiles, coping and stainless steel hardware.
5. Prepare work orders for maintenance department.
6. Clean chemical and pump rooms.
7. Perform minor repairs as needed and report major repairs to the Aquatic Tech. Supervisor.
8. Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
10.Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.

Frequently walking, standing, bending and lifting.
