QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 365) required. Adobe, eFinance Plus, and eSchoolPlus experience preferred.
3. Proficient in general office skills, with strong emphasis in word processing and spreadsheets databases.
4. Demonstrated effective communication skills with parents, students, and school staff.
5. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population.
6. Demonstrated personal integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
7. Ability to work with frequent interruptions; ability to maintain emotional control under stress.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
230 Days
SALARY/PAYGRADE:
$30,948 – CP5
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2017-2018
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Compile, input and reconcile grant financial records for TEXSHEP reports.
2. Complete data entry of District information for specific reports.
3. Create and maintain databases and/or spreadsheets to structure and maintain records for the EASE data collection forms.
4. Act as a liaison between schools, bookkeeping, payroll and other offices for grant-related issues.
5. Communicate with parents regarding student residency questionnaires.
6. Communicate with EASE counselors and registrars regarding EASE data collection forms.
7. Assist Homeless Liaison with identifying homeless students.
8. Manage and prepare paperwork involved in monitoring homeless students in the EASE Program.
9. Process transportation requests for students covered under the McKinney Vento Act.
10. Receive and process mileage, travel reimbursements, time sheets, and purchase orders or supplies and reimbursements for TEXSHEP grant.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Homeless Liaison and Director of Student Services/Admissions.
