QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized, accredited college or university;

2. Eligible for a valid Texas teaching certificate in Technology Education 6-12;

3. Able to use and maintain shop tools and equipment;

4. General knowledge of curriculum and instruction;

5. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;

6. Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.

7. Maintain a strong safety culture in the instructional setting.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Probationary/Term Contract:  193 days

SALARY:

Pay Grade T60 (Teacher Classification) as approved by the Board of Trustees

Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment.
