QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Proficient in record keeping and general office management.
3. Proficient in computer skills (I.e. Microsoft, Office Professional).
4. Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
5. Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and take initiative to ensure timely and accurate completion of responsibilities.
7. Possess high degree of customer service skills.
8. Experience with human resources data entry or comparable experience preferred.

SALARY:
$30,029 - CP4
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2017-2018
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Timely and accurate preparation of correspondence, forms, manuals, schedules and reports for the Assistant Director of Human Resources for Community Programs and other department staff members using a personal computer.
2. Process criminal history record information, references, and other application data, and information pertinent to the new employee hiring and onboarding process, including but not limited to: personnel actions involving hires, transfers and resignations.
3. Support the process and ensure accurate and timely record keeping of part-time personnel actions, including new hires, transfers, and resignations.
4. Maintain physical and electronic departmental personnel files and other confidential records.
5. Answer and respond to incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff.
6. Greet visitors and assist employees and applicants with completing applications and required paperwork.
7. Under the direction of the Assistant Director for Human Resources, screen resumes relative to job requirements for open positions and schedule interviews and follow-up meetings as needed. Ensure proper notification to all involved in the interviewing process.
8. Maintain a schedule of appointments and meetings as required.
9. Maintain confidentiality of information.
10. Perform data-entry to maintain information and ensure accurate and timely input of applicant and/or employee data in applicable human resources systems (i.e. applicant tracking, background screening and other internal systems).
11. Provide input on the office budget.
12. Provide input on office and program guidelines and procedures.
13. Perform any and all other duties deemed necessary by the Assistant Director of Human Resources and Training, the Director of Community Programs, and/or the Assistant Superintendent of Communication and Community Relations.

Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under pressure. Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer.
