Description | QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, HR or related field required.
- Two years of human resources experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred.
- Knowledge of eFinance, Human Resources/Payroll module, preferred.
- Knowledge of school district budgeting and accounting procedures.
- Extensive knowledge of budgeting as it relates to organizational and position structure.
- Knowledge of methods of auditing budget and position control transactions.
- Able to make mathematical and statistical computations with speed and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to perform position control and statistical projects.
- Proficient in MS Office (e.g. Word, PowerPoint) with advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup and other advanced Excel functions and formulas) required.
- Knowledge of business reporting techniques and systems.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to organize data from multiple sources required.
- Ability to perform in-depth research and manage multiple projects simultaneously required.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, both verbally and written, required.

Annual Contract: 250 days

$55,613. BA-3
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2018-2019
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee and direct the Human Resources portion of the Personnel Budgeting module, ensuring all additions and changes meet the District's guidelines and are accounted for and coordinated with the Finance and Payroll Departments.
- Ensure personnel information is available for budget development in current and future fiscal years.
- Create and generate HRIS reports, using COGNOS and Microsoft Excel, for all areas of HR including but not limited to staffing, employee absence management, leave of absences, new hires, terminations, compensation, benefits, turnover, employee demographics, HR compliance and records management.
- Plan, organize, monitor, evaluate and reconcile the Human Resource module in eFinance.
- Audit and review eFinance COGNOS reports and make changes as needed.
- Continually audit eFinance database ensuring the integrity and accuracy of employee data.
- Establish Human Resources job class codes, job categories, work locations and work calendars.
- Perform daily Human Resource operations in various areas of eFinance database.
- Work with Information Technology personnel in the development of programs and modification of existing HR system.
- Work with Information Technology and Payroll department on the preparation, presentation, documentation and reporting of State data.
- Perform year-end closing functions involving eFinance database, including elimination and creating of positions.
- Oversee and monitor all employee PEIMS entries. Troubleshoot and address errors as needed.
- Generate routine queries and audit reports to ensure data entries are correct. Compile and analyze data to improve processes.
- Serve as a resource for campus and department leaders on position control, staffing allocations, data requests and PEIMS procedures and practices.
- Assist in system integration of position control to include reviewing a system to detect errors, duplication and omission, verify positions are budgeted, and ensure positions have been properly approved, provide historical data, prepare reports, provide position tracking system, reconcile employee assignments and provide training.
- Research and analyze personnel records to resolve problems and respond to inquiries related to assigned personnel.
- Provide support for the Human Resources Directors, Assistant Directors and Compensation Analyst.
- Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive and privileged information.
- Provide database trainings as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
