QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Three (3) years of administrative assistant experience or three (3) years of experience in human resources required.
- Proficient in the use of personal computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, and Adobe.
- Rapidly acquire proficiency in a range of HR software systems.
- Experience utilizing and maintaining a variety of databases with the ability to export data and reports from various sources.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of individuals and complex issues.
- Demonstrated personal integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to perform a variety of tasks and change assignments on short notice, with little or no direction.
- Ability to multi-task various administrative activities/duties.
- Possess strong and effective oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Possess strong decision-making skills and demonstrated personal integrity to support the best interest of the district.

SALARY:
$38,963/CP-6
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2024-2025.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Receive and initiate the workflow process for new hire recommendations for paraprofessional and hourly employees.
- Manage a complex office environment with frequent interruptions.
- Operate proficiently in a range of various HR software systems.
- Coordinate the paraprofessional proficiency testing process, including applicant communication, monitoring scoring, and updating applications with results.
- Manage educational aide certification compliance for current paraprofessionals, including tracking expirations and maintaining communication with employees to ensure compliance.
- Manage the I-9 process for paraprofessional and hourly employees, including assisting new employees with initial completion, reverifications, and resolving issues.
- Create and maintain job postings.
- Perform general secretarial duties including preparing and typing correspondence and reports for Directors, maintaining Directors’ calendars, filing, and phone activity.
- Assist with the creation of service records as needed.
- Assist employees with questions regarding general district policies.
- Prepare and run reports as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of information, including personnel files, records, and student information.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Assist with organization of CFISD Career Fair and participate in recruiting efforts.
- Promote and support departmental goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the director/assistant directors.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
