Description | QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent education and/or experience;
- Demonstrated knowledge of the management of entertainment or convention facilities;
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of previous successful experience in the management of a similar facility;
- Demonstrated leadership ability, strong interpersonal skills, and effective communication skills;
- Minimum of three years of supervisory experience;
- Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, CAD, room scheduling, and room layout software program; preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays;
- Demonstrated skills necessary to work with representatives with maintenance, operations, human resources, campus personnel, and public assembly facilities.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Annual Contract 250 Days
SALARY:
$111,253 (BA 9)
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2024-2025
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Directs the policy, development, programming/booking, financial management, and marketing of facilities.
- Develop, monitor, and evaluate facility budgets and provide reports and financial services on facility performance.
- Direct building services, including custodial, building maintenance, grounds maintenance, and concessions and catering operations.
- Responsible for direct support and coordination of event spaces.
- Direct facility event production meetings/planning sessions and ensure that staffing and equipment needs for events are met.
- Review, update, and train staff on emergency plans and public safety/security policies and procedures in accordance with CFPD/Emergency Management Department.
- Hire, direct, and supervise staff, including operations, maintenance, catering, concessions, and audio-visual.
- Plan, organize, schedule, coordinate, and communicate operations, events, and performances, including the use of technical/non-technical equipment with staff, campuses, and external groups.
- Create, update, share and maintain a master calendar for scheduling events.
- Ensure all events and activities are conducted within board policies and administrative regulations.
- Oversee the ticketing systems, ticket input and sales, customer relations, house management and usher supervision
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief of Staff or Superintendent.

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Maintain emotional control under stress. Prolonged use of computer. Repetiive hand motions. Frequent standing, walking: moderate bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Exposure to cold and refrigerated areas.
