QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Operate ten key by touch with accuracy and speed.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in payroll functions preferred.
- Experience in SunGard payroll software preferred.
- Competency in areas of filing, basic accounting and operation of personal computer.

250 days
SALARY/PAYGRADE:
$42,078/CP-7
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2024-2025.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work as part of a team to ensure that the district’s payrolls are processed correctly.
- Perform data entry as required to assist in processing the district’s payrolls.
- Maintain deduction and direct deposit records.
- Calculate and confirm employee salaries and hourly rates.
- Balance and verify records to ensure accurate payroll data.
- Act as a backup for various positions within the payroll department, including receptionist duties.
- Process interfaces required to integrate data into the payroll system.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Payroll Assistant Director and the Director of Payroll.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
