QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized, accredited college or university;
2. Valid Texas Certification for EC-6 or EC-4 (Standard, Provisional, or One-Year certificates only; ACP candidates on a probationary certificate do not qualify);
3. Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience as an elementary classroom teacher preferred;
4. Strong experience with at-risk / small group reading intervention and instruction;
5. Excellent classroom management.
6. This position does not qualify for a lateral teacher transfer within CFISD during the school year.  

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Probationary/Term Contract: 187 days

Pay Grade T60 (Teacher Classification) as approved by the Board of Trustees
