QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education/Degree(s):
- Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable experience
- Professional experience: Two (2) years’ experience in an asset management
- Experience in the education industry preferred
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Proficient in asset tracking systems and management software
- Skilled in maintaining accurate, auditable records and conducting inventory audits.
- Experienced in coordinating logistics for asset distribution.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Capable of managing complex projects and troubleshooting logistical issues
- Knowledgeable in compliance requirements for K-12 asset management
- Adept at implementing policies, procedures, and data interpretation.
- Critical thinker with proven problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills in Microsoft Excel.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
250 days
SALARY/PAY GRADE:
$50,798 - TC3
Salary (based on verifiable job-related experience) as set by the Board of Trustees
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Assists with:
- tracking technology equipment assets and managing inventories.
- overseeing excess technology assets for repurposing within the district.
- developing processes and procedures to enhance asset inventory innovation.
- training District staff responsible for inventory maintenance.
- planning and developing strategies for effective inventory control.
- compiling, maintaining, and filing required physical and digital reports and record.
- Documents:
- the movement of all technology assets within the district
- the receipt of old technology equipment, including asset accounts, tagging, descriptions, and warranty tracking in the inventory system.
- Attends professional growth activities to keep abreast of innovations in information management and technology services.
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Complies with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals ; Pallet jack (manual and electric), palletize and wrap pallets.

- Motion: Repetitive hand motions, frequent keyboarding, and use of mouse; occasional reaching
- Lifting: Must be able to lift at least comfortably and safely 40 pounds
- Environment: Frequent districtwide travel
