QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School Diploma or GED; college credits with office skills training or equivalent business school training preferred.
  2. Minimum of five (5) years administrative secretarial experience; minimum of three (3) years in public education setting preferred.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook; experience with e-Finance and Laserfiche preferred.
  4. Effective verbal, written and listening communication skills; detailed oriented; and ability to work with a wide range of complex issues.
  5. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  6. Ability to prioritize, organize, facilitate, and muti-task numerous complex administrative activities.
  7. Ability to work with frequent interruptions; ability to maintain emotional control under stress.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative in resolving issues and improving processes.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

250 days

 

SALARY/PAYGRADE:

$52,215/CP-9

Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the 2024-2025 school year.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Provide comprehensive support, including calendar management, scheduling, and meeting coordination.
  2. Prepare correspondence, board agenda items, reports, and presentations for the Chief Financial Officer.
  3. Demonstrate a general understanding of financial and business policies, procedures, and best practices.                                       
  4. Assist in processing new vendor requests.
  5. Process public information requests in a timely and accurate manner.
  6. Process purchase orders as needed.
  7. Assist in compiling information for the Annual Financial Management Report.
  8. Assist in scheduling and compiling information for financial training of new principals.
  9. Reconcile AESOP for Chief Financial Officer.
  10. Maintain effective working relationships with District and school personnel, parents, and the public.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.

Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer.
