ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for various duties assigned by department supervisors, campus leaders, or other staff members.
- Temporary Worker: A temporary worker is an employee who works less than 4 1/2 months in a school year.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Student Employment:
1. Recommendation from a District department or campus.
2. At least 14 years old and currently enrolled in middle or high school.
3. Ability to speak, read, and understand the English language.
4. Ability to demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude, maintain confidentiality, and abide by the policies of the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District.
Adult Employment:
1. Recommendation from a District department or campus. Must have met requirements for hire for the selected position.
2. High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred for all positions.
3. Bachelor's degree or higher from recognized, accredited college or university preferred for tutors and/or professional positions.
4. Ability to speak, read, and understand the English language.
5. Ability to demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude, maintain confidentiality, and abide by the policies of the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a temporary assignment. The length of the temporary assignment will be determined based on project needs.

SALARY/PAYGRADE:
The hourly rate will be determined based on position and the hiring department budget.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer. Exposure to working inside and outside (moderate exposure to sun, heat, cold, and inclement weather), moderate exposure to noise, and moderate exposure to extended periods of sitting and/or standing.
